Let’s Imagine They’re Gone
The Controllers have to go. Retired, fired or arrested and jailed. Or taken to a different planet. Does that sound far fetched? That’s exactly what the Arcturians say will happen. Those who seek Power Over Others and those who are their victims will both be assigned to a different planet.
As we have often said, Gaia is an extremely loving Mother. Therefore, as long as She carries any remnants of third/fourth dimensional time, She will provide a place where her lost ones can decide to enter into the Light. This Higher Light will eventually engulf even the lowest astral plane, and the lost ones will need to re-locate to another planet on which they will, hopefully, release their habit of Power Over, as well as their need to be a victim, have an enemy, and suffer before they can change. You see Power Over can only exist when there are others who have chosen to be a victim. We are not saying that the choice to be a victim is a conscious choice, as it is usually an unconscious choice. Many have become addicted to the third dimension format of ruler and ruled. This addiction will only fade when those trapped within the format of Power Over remember that Gaia is a planet that is ruled by free will. Because of Gaia’s free will, those who choose to be in the Power Over format in order to be a victim, can also choose to release that addiction and take charge of their own life.

The people who opposed the lockdowns and refused the suicide jab will be recognized as the best of humanity who have proven they have courage and are capable of independent, critical thinking and therefore are qualified to lead. Over educated “experts” like Professor Neil Ferguson, Imperial College of London who used a computer model to predict in 2020 that Covid-19 would kill 500,000 people in Britain and advised Boris Johnson to lockdown the country will be ignored. Most people believe experts because they are impressed with their academic degrees and don’t understand the nonsensical jargon they speak with unshakeable confidence. W.C. Fields puts it like this.
Money Makes the World Go Round-Unfortunately
What we have in the world today is businesses motivated by profit and run by greedy sociopaths to the detriment of society and the environment. Some people think that it’s human nature to be greedy, Caitlin Johnstone disagrees.

My opinion is that all persons with a significant audience are useful idiots and/or controlled opposition. It is not okay to accept that some of their views are aligned with lies, “because they cannot be aware of everything.” Learning more about the Tavistock Institute has recently made me accept the likelihood of brainwashing and consequent control of all persons.
There are and have been thousands of secret groups focusing on owning or controlling everything of significance for thousands of years. I believe that these groups are often interconnected and controlled at the very top by a small number of people. Every country and every leader is controlled. Some leaders veer away from the agenda imposed on them so must be dealt with and are made examples to keep other leaders in line. Of course this is all easier now due to much better control of surveillance, data, money, food, energy, courts, media and education etc.
I believe this control agenda will collapse eventually due to the need for it to become more extreme causing many useful idiots to abandon their control positions for various reasons. The human condition will improve, after much death and suffering! and will be at a more advanced level than now, but will gradually begin another cycle where evil greedy people will again control everything through their control of finance and money.
When the entire medical profession is debunked as a profit driven business that has no interest in curing anyone because that would mean the loss of a customer the alternatives to healing will flourish.

My school years were a disaster. I was bullied a lot in elementary school (grades 1 to 6 )and in Jr. High.(Gr. 7 to 9). I started doing pot at age 13. I was the depressed kid dressed in black who sat at the back of the classroom and stared out the window. Often I was suicidial. My drug use ended with a bad trip on LSD when I was 17. When I was 18 I began yoga and TM. My love of learning somehow survived and I went to University. After my first year of University I went to La Antia, Spain for ten weeks to become a teacher of TM which I thought was the answer to all the problems in the world. So idealistic and so naive. Two years later when I realized I couldn’t make a living teaching TM I returned to university and got my BSc in Psychology. Big deal. I wouldn’t do it again. OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) can be one result of psychiatric drugging. A child becomes less social and his spontaneous behavior may be stifled.
Dr. Breggin reports, “The initial diagnosis of ADHD ruins the child’s sense of personal responsibility and self-control, so that the child no longer thinks he can control himself. This almost inevitably disrupts emotional growth and renders the child less able to grow up into a mature adult.”

We need a new political system
First we have to get rid of the party system. Whether a country has two parties or more this system pushes every politician to follow the party line on every issue or face penalties including being expelled from the party. If there were no parties then every elected representative would be free to follow the wishes of his constituents and/or his conscience.
The current system attracts greedy and unethical people. Not only do elected politicians get paid very well they also get big pensions for life even if they are in office for just four years. Add to that the bribes they get from big tech, big oil, big banks, big pharma and/or the arms industry. Others are compromised when they are lured into having sex with a minor which is covertly video taped. They are “remorseless predators who use charm, intimidation and, if necessary, impulsive and cold-blooded violence to attain their ends.”
They “ruthlessly plow their way through life, leaving a broad trail of broken hearts, shattered expectations, and empty wallets.”
They have “no feelings of guilt or remorse no matter what [they] do, no limiting sense of concern for the well-being of strangers, friends, or even family members.”
Am I talking about politicians? Technocrats? Billionaire “philanthrocapitalists”? Royalty? Captains of industry?
Of course I am. But I’m also talking about psychopaths…
he PCL-R involves, among other things, a semi-structured interview in which a subject is tested for 20 personality traits and recorded behaviours, from “egocentricity/grandiose sense of self-worth” to “pathological lying and deception” to “lack of remorse or guilt” to “early behaviour problems.”
Although none of these personality traits are indicative of psychopathy by themselves, the presence of a certain number of them (corresponding to a score of 30 or higher on the PCL-R test) is used to diagnose the condition.
So, how would your average politician score on this test? Let’s see.

In psychology, “projection” refers to the act of displacing one’s own feelings onto another person. As Psychology Today explains:
The term is most commonly used to describe defensive projection—attributing one’s own unacceptable urges to another. For example, if someone continuously bullies and ridicules a peer about his insecurities, the bully might be projecting his own struggle with self-esteem onto the other person.
This concept of projection equips us to better understand why political psychopaths pathologize conspiracy theorists and political dissenters: they are projecting their own mental disorders onto their ideological opponents.
But there is another sense in which psychopaths are “projecting” their pathology onto the world stage. You see, psychopaths do not merely take advantage of their lack of conscience to obtain political or economic power. They use that power to shape the organization they’re leading into a projection of their own psychopathic tendencies.

The paper clearly sets out a problem and then proposes specific solutions.
First, the problem…
The Saskatchewan government has identified nine different federal climate change policies that are estimated to cost the province a total of $111 billion between 2022 and 2035 – the approximate halfway point to the federal government’s 2050 net-zero targets.
The costs of each of the nine policies are:
- Federal Carbon Tax: $24.7 billion;
- Oil and Gas Methane Mandate: $6.3 billion;
- Oil and Gas Emissions Cap: $2.6 billion;
- Fertilizer Mandate: $19.3 billion;
- Clean Fuel Regulations: $34.9 billion;
- Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate: $10.3 billion;
- Federal Output Based Pricing System: $12.5 billion;
- Agriculture Methane Initiatives: $0.5 billion;
- Landfill Methane Mandate: $0.2 billion.
Don’t forget – these are just the direct costs.
We all know that the energy industry powers every other industry and, since energy is required to create almost every other product, as energy prices increase, costs for consumer goods will undoubtedly rise across the board as well.
Scott Moe and his team have a clear understanding of the problem and are deeply concerned about the impacts federal environmental policy can have on the economy.
For a province like Saskatchewan, where total provincial revenue for 2022 was just $17.2 billion, $111 billion is a gigantic cost.
If we want to save this country, we need substantial reforms to the way this country is governed.
Thankfully, the Saskatchewan government’s paper also proposes some solutions that include:
- Provincial legislation to clarify and protect constitutional rights belonging to the province.
- Pursuing greater autonomy over immigration policy to ensure Saskatchewan has the people it needs.
- Better recognition of Saskatchewan industry’s contributions to sustainable growth – for example, developing a carbon credit market to support our natural resource industries.
- Preparing to take legal actions, legislative or otherwise, to maintain control of electricity, fertilizer emission/use targets and oil and gas emissions/production.

Top world guru, Sadhguru, Founder of the Isha Foundation,is a primary speaker at the United Nations World Headquarters and is also aligned with the World Economic Forum (WEF). In May of 2021 he instructed millions of his followers that they MUST get the COVID-19 injection. He advises that there are risks but that “it has been substantially established that the element of risk is miniscule…”
Sadhguru goes on to say, “Nobody should evolve philosophies of anti-vax. This is just rubbish right now, putting everybody’s lives to risk. Well if you want to be anti-vax go and live on a Himalayan peak where you are not in touch with any human being it’s fine, but if you are living in a city, town or community you MUST take vaccination.”
Sadhguru’s mission statement says his goal is “to raise every human being to the peak of their potential, so that they are exuberant, all-inclusive, and in harmony within themselves and the world.”
It would appear that the guru doesn’t practice what he teaches when the circumstances do not align with ‘his’ own personal philosophy…and that of the WEF.
Furthermore Sadguru cheated on his wife so she left him and a year later died under suspicious circumstances.

Marketing campaigns are being used with all the consumer key notes to attract a massive spiritual following, and are being introduced and peddled to the public through social media, and YouTube. People that generally are not equipped with strong Discernment and a cultivated b.s. meter, have the tendency to give away their personal power to an outside influence, such as a guru type, group consciousness or a Spiritual Consumerism movement marketing themselves as a spiritual authority. Too many people are believing that spirituality, Expanding Consciousness, and becoming enlightened can be achieved through the pathway of consumer spirituality and self-proclaimed experts that call themselves masters. They can buy enlightenment, have a glamourous spiritual life hanging out on the galactic planes, rather than commit to the deeper inner work of clearing the shadow, by observing the unruly ego in action and correcting abusive patterns of behavior…
If we are really being honest, we may know we need to change, but we will be faced with a test of self-responsibility. In the consumer spiritual market, we can transfer that responsibility onto something else, and pretend that we are actually doing something spiritual because we paid for a product or listened to a guru type that promised awakening. Organized Religion and Scientific Atheism are both schools of thought imposed by the NAA, which result in indoctrinated humans that suffer from the Mind Control system that extremely polarizes thinking into Confirmation Bias. Each side of the opposition, present an all or nothing model that severely limits the scope of human intelligence. The agenda is to keep people arguing in circular debates with no resolution, so that we waste our energies being distracted by ineffective projects or topics that lead nowhere. Political and financial interests dominate angry egos jostling for status or position, over finding the common ground that unites us to put our collective energies into serving humanitarian causes. We must stop contributing to the deadlock, and become a positive cause in finding the common ground, by focusing on the much larger picture. Evolving into Group Consciousness does not mean we become homogenized as a race, it means we give up our intrinsic selfishness and learn how to preserve our Individualism, autonomy and be of service to the whole, by respecting and allowing others to be a reflection of our true interconnectedness. There’s a whole vast spectrum of potential solutions to the troubles we face as a species, and we’re limiting ourselves to a very small, very inferior fraction of it. By limiting solutions to ones that are profitable, we’re omitting any which involve using less, consuming less, leaving resources in the ground, and leaving nature the hell alone. We’re also shrinking the incentive to cure sicknesses and eliminate problems rather than offer expensive, ongoing treatments and services for them.Or even a project as fundamental to our survival as getting all the pollution out of our oceans. The profit motive offers no solution to this problem because there’s no way to make a surplus of money from doing so, and in fact it would be very costly. So the pollution stays in our seas, year after year. People have come up with plenty of solutions for removing pollution from the sea, but they never get rolled out at the necessary scale because there’s no way to make it profitable. And people would come up with far more solutions if they knew those solutions could be implemented.How many times have you had an awesome idea and gotten all excited about it, only to do the math and figure out that it’s unfeasible because wouldn’t be profitable? This is a very common experience, and it’s happening to ideas for potential solutions to our problems every day.The profit motive system assumes the ecocidal premise of infinite growth on a finite world. Without that, the entire system collapses. So there are no solutions which involve not growing, manufacturing less, consuming less, not artificially driving up demand with advertising, etc.It’s hard to appreciate the significance of this artificial limitation when you’re inside it and lived your whole life under its rules. It’s like if we were only allowed to make things out of wood; if our whole civilization banned the entire spectrum of non-woodcraft innovation. Sure such a civilization would get very good at making wooden things, and would probably have some woodcrafting innovations that our civilization doesn’t have. But it would also be greatly developmentally stunted. That’s how badly we’re handicapping ourselves with the profit motive model from the pursuit of viable solutions.And some solutions would be really great right now. This planet just had its warmest week in recorded history, and Antarctic sea ice is now failing to form in what for the southern hemisphere is the dead of winter. Even if you still want to pretend global warming isn’t real, this planet’s biosphere is giving us plenty of other signs of looming collapse, including plummeting insect populations, a loss of two-thirds of Earth’s wildlife over the last 50 years, ecosystems dying off, forests disappearing, soil becoming rapidly less fertile, mass extinctions, and oceans gasping for oxygen and becoming lifeless deserts while continents of plastic form in their waters. So our need for immediate solutions to our environmental crisis is not seriously debatable.But we’re not getting solutions, we’re getting a world ruled by corporations whose leaders are required to place growth above all other other concerns, even concerns about whether the future will contain an ecosystem which corporations can exist in or a human species for them to sell goods and services to. Corporations function as giant, world-eating sociopaths, because our current models let their leaders and lawyers wash their hands of all the consequences of the damage their monsters inflict in the name of growth and the duty to maximize shareholder profits.People worry about the world getting destroyed by machines driven by a heartless artificial intelligence, but we might end up destroying it with a kind of artificial mind we invented long before microchips: the corporation. World Economic Forum returns to snowy Davos for talks

The richest 1 percent of people on Earth made almost two-thirds of the new wealth created since the pandemic began, Oxfam said in a report released Monday, the opening day of the World Economic Forum in Davos, a ski resort in the Swiss Alps. The group proposed to increase tax on billionaires’ income.
The world’s richest have absorbed a greater proportion of global wealth during the pandemic and over the past decade, while global poverty has increased for the first time in 25 years, according to the report, titled “Survival of the Richest.” It added that the planet is facing a “polycrisis” of climate change, cost-of-living burdens, widespread hunger and an unprecedented decline in human development.
Oxfam is calling on world leaders to significantly increase taxes on the ultrawealthy. This includes higher taxes on income and capital gains, which it argued arethe most important source of income for the rich in most countries.
“As a starting point, the world should aim to halve the wealth and number of billionaires between now and 2030, both by increasing taxes on the top 1% and adopting other billionaire-busting policies,” the report said. “This would bring billionaire wealth and numbers back to where they were just a decade ago in 2012.”
Oxfam timed its report to the start of the World Economic Forum, a gathering of the world’s political and business elites that runs until Friday, with panels on a variety of topics scheduled, including human rights, the pandemic, climate change and ways to prepare for an expected recession.
The group called for countries to impose a tax rate of at least 60 percent on income, from both labor and capital, of the world’s richest 1 percent, as well as overall higher rates for multimillionaires and billionaires. It said even a tax of up to 5 percent on the world’s billionaires could raise about $1.7 trillion annually,enough money to lift 2 billion people out of poverty, as well as fund a global plan to end hunger.
To illustrate the current state of tax discrepancies, Oxfam provided a stark example: Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter, paid a true tax rate of just over 3 percent from 2014 to 2018, while a market trader selling rice and flour in Northern Uganda paid an income tax rate of 40 percent.
“While ordinary people are making daily sacrifices on essentials like food, the super-rich have outdone even their wildest dreams,” Gabriela Bucher, executive director of Oxfam International, said in a release. “Just two years in, this decade is shaping up to be the best yet for billionaires — a roaring ’20s boom for the world’s richest.”
Daniel Bunn, president and CEO of the Tax Foundation, a U.S.-based nonprofit that focuses on the economics of tax policy, said that a 60 percent marginal tax rate on the world’s wealthiest 1 percent would be “an enforcement challenge to begin with” and could encourage avoidance or evasion. He said a broader tax base at a lower rate might be a better long-term option.
He also said that lawmakers around the world should consider a progressive consumption tax, which essentially means taxing the ultrawealthy when they spend money. He argues that it would make tax avoidance more difficult and also make personal wealth easier to track.
“You can figure out how to avoid income taxes by relocating where you are in the world. You can choose to minimalize your exposure to capital gains by holding your assets and not selling them,” he said. “But when you buy something, there is a transaction there — it’s a less mobile factor.”
“People aren’t going to avoid buying things,” he added.
According to the Oxfam report, marginal tax rates of 60 percent or above on personal income of the rich “were the norm for large parts of the 20th century.” But taxes on personal income, dividend income, inheritances and corporate income tax have generally declined since 1980 in rich countries. About half of the world’s billionaires live in countries where there are no inheritance taxes, the report stated.
Great idea but no government will tax the rich because they rely on them for funding to get re-elected. The theme of the 2024 Davos meeting is “Rebuilding Trust.” What there actually are people who don’t trust the super rich to run the world?

It’s Davos week again, when the global super-rich and powerful gather together in the Swiss Alps to trade intelligence, sweet talk suppliers and customers, schmooze with heads of state, do deals, and pretend to cure the world of all its problems – or at least the ones that are a threat to them.
But don’t be surprised when the Davos crowd fails to provide answers, for the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting is rarely anything more than a giant media circus and talking shop – good intentions honed in the bracing mountain air are quickly forgotten once returned to the cut and thrust of harsh reality.
The theme of this year’s annual meeting is “Rebuilding Trust”. Good luck with that, because the loss of trust is largely in the very same globalist agenda that Davos promotes. If the great and the good who attend these events want to know why, they need only take a long hard look in the mirror.
Not since the Cold War has trust between nations been lower, and you have to go back even further to find an age in which public confidence in the supposed benefits of globalism and international government has been as poor as it is today. Rarely have things looked so fragile.
As for trust in domestic institutions, and indeed the rules-based system of international law and trade through which nations are meant to interact, these things too are on the floor. Who might we blame for this parlous state of affairs? The global elites attending Davos must surely be top of the list.
Theresa May, former British Prime Minister, caused uproar among liberally minded elites when after the vote for Brexit she said, “If you believe you are a citizen of the world, you are a citizen of nowhere”, but in doing so, she spoke for the new consensus…
Even as a networking opportunity, there are many competing events these days. Davos no longer speaks for the zeitgeist – its ambitions and ideals are very much on the defensive.
Today’s world is a far more fractured and nativist one than the mutually cooperative, borderless nirvana fuelled by technological advance that Davos champions.
The starry-eyed naivety which greeted the advent of the internet has been replaced by palpable fear of its progeny: artificial intelligence. Business and political leaders are demonised, and the free movement of goods, services and people is widely challenged.
The peace dividend has gone, global supply chains are fragmenting as nations put security before efficiency, borders are being reinforced, and the “inclusive” ideal so enthusiastically embraced by the WEF is facing a fierce, anti-woke backlash the world over.
This is regrettably not a time for reaching out to others and finding workable compromises. Rather, it’s a time for picking sides. The Davos consensus has crumbled. Political and moneyed elites have screwed up, and if this is not yet quite fin de siècle, it’s moving in that direction.
So once again, good luck with rebuilding trust. Davos participants might perhaps have thought about these things a long time ago and acted accordingly. It’s too late now.

Scores of sex workers have swarmed to the Swiss ski resort town of Davos to offer their services to the rich and powerful this week — with some said to be charging up to $2,500 a night.
Every year, the World Economic Forum hosts a five-day gathering featuring CEOs, dignitaries, captains of industry, and media figures to discuss important global issues.
One prostitute who goes by the name “Liana” told the German newspaper Bild that she frequently provides services to an American attendee at Davos who pays $750 per hour — or $2,500 to spend the whole night.
She added that she dresses in business attire in order to blend in with the crowd at the World Economic Forum gathering.
A woman who manages an escort service based in the Swiss town of Aargau, which is located some 100 miles from Davos, told 20 Minuten that she received 11 bookings and 25 inquiries — and that was just the beginning.
“Some also book escorts for themselves and their employees to party in the hotel suite,” the escort service manager said.
Salome Balthus is a sex worker who services clients who attend the Davos forum.

A German sex worker took to Twitter to describe her experience mingling with the Davos crowd and their security detail. Her comments were reported by DailyMail.com.
“Date in Switzerland during #WWF means looking at the gun muzzles of security guards in the hotel corridor at 2 a.m. – and then sharing the giveaway chocolates from the restaurant with them and gossiping about the rich… #Davos #WEF,” the sex worker, Salome Balthus, wrote.
Balthus, who said she is staying at a hotel near Davos, refused to divulge the names of her clients.

On the way back from Kyiv, journalists unexpectedly entered the leaders’ cabin on a train heading for Poland. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz hid a spoon used for cocaine, while French President Macron concealed a bag of the white powder. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is also seen with the trio.
French media outlet Libération dismissed these claims as “conspiracy theories,” stating there is no evidence to support them, and suggesting the items were a handkerchief and a drink stirrer, respectively.
For sure, they needed to quickly hide the handkerchief and drink stirrer.
“These conspiracy accusations fit with the narrative that Western elites are depraved and approach war unconsciously,” Libération said. “This is clearly not the case.”
(Because he always stirs his glass of water with a drink stirrer … riiiight.)
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova blasted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling him an “unbalanced cocaine addict.”
She added that in 2022, she asked a Western ambassador: “How can you supply weapons to the unbalanced drug addict Zelensky, he has been on cocaine for many years?” And she received the answer: “For the EU, this is normal—many heads of Western states use it.”
Ukrainian comedian and president Volodymyr Zelensky has long been suspected of excessive cocaine use. He is not a brave man—he’s just a man with a cocaine problem.
Traces of cocaine were found in the toilets of the German parliament, the Reichstag, in 2000. A German television station tested 28 men’s toilets in the parliament building, and 22 of them tested positive for cocaine.
In 2005, a German television station also conducted a similar investigation at the European Parliament in Brussels, finding cocaine traces in 41 of 46 lavatories tested. This investigation prompted a scandal and raised questions about drug use among members and staff of the European Parliament.

Armed with wet wipes, reporters from the television station Sat 1 polished toilet roll dispensers, door handles and other areas in the Brussels building. Almost all the 46 swabs they took were contaminated with cocaine, with 10 samples containing “significant amounts” of the class A drug.
The European parliament has denied a problem of cocaine use among members and staff. But a scientist who analysed the swabs last night urged a thorough inquiry.
The findings in the German parliament were met with skepticism and calls for further investigation. Wolfgang Thierse, the head of the German parliament, called for a full investigation, but rejected the idea that lawmakers were drug users.
“On every floor there are not just parliamentarians, but administrators, journalists and many guests from all over the place. So who is being accused—are we saying that everyone snorts cocaine in this country?”
Similarly, the European Parliament dismissed the findings, claiming that traces of cocaine could be found in most public buildings and that the amounts found did not indicate a significant problem.
More recently, in 2025, traces of amphetamines, ecstasy (MDMA) and cocaine were discovered in the Finnish Parliament’s toilet cubicles after samples were taken soon after parliamentary groups held their Christmas parties.
AN AVALANCHE OF COCAINE
“An avalanche of cocaine,” has met Europe, according to Swedish narcotics officer Lennart Karlsson, after Swedish news outlet Aftonbladet did testsinside the parliamentary offices’ toilets, there were traces in half of the cases.
“I’m not very surprised, the cocaine is everywhere in society,” said Lennart Karlsson.
In 2013, evidence of cocaine use was found inside toilets at the Houses of Parliament in London, England, including some just yards from MPs’ offices. Traces of the drug were found in nine toilets throughout the Palace Of Westminster, the meeting place of the UK’s political elite. The powder was detected in toilets used by guests at Parliament’s bars, as well as in cubicles a few yards away from MPs’ offices—areas where members of the public are restricted from going.
As Parliament’s toilets are cleaned regularly, the white powder must have been snorted within a few hours of testing, according to reporters from The Sun, who did the testing.
Tory MP Douglas Carswell was interviewed and he retorted: “With decadence comes something rotten. It suggests there is something rotten about the institution itself.”

UK CONSERVATIVE PARTY LEADERSHIP RACE
In the United Kingdom, Sky News reported on the Conservative Party Leadership Race (2019) a list of drug users:
- Michael Gove (Environment Secretary, 1999–2000s): In 2019, during the Conservative Party leadership race, Gove admitted to using cocaine “on several occasions” two decades prior, expressing deep regret. His admission was part of a broader wave of disclosures among candidates, reflecting a shift in UK politics where past drug use was increasingly acknowledged.
- Boris Johnson (Prime Minister, 2019–2022): Johnson, the eventual winner of the 2019 leadership race, made ambiguous comments about cocaine use. In 2005, on Have I Got News for You, he claimed he was “once given cocaine but sneezed,” suggesting it had no effect, and in 2007 told GQ he tried it at university. In 2008, he admitted to trying cannabis at age 19. His lighthearted tone contrasted with the gravity of the issue, sparking criticism.
- Rory Stewart (International Development Secretary, 2000s): Stewart admitted to smoking opium at a wedding in Iran 15 years prior (circa 2004), describing it as a “very stupid mistake” with no effect due to his physical exertion at the time. His candor was framed as a reflection of his global experiences.
- Jeremy Hunt (Foreign Secretary, 1990s): Hunt disclosed in 2019 that he “might have” tried a cannabis lassi while backpacking in India during his youth, minimizing the incident with humor.
- Esther McVey (Work and Pensions Secretary, 1980s–199 opal0s): McVey admitted to smoking cannabis when “much younger,” emphasizing it was a one-off experience.
- Andrea Leadsom (Leader of the House of Commons, 1980s): Leadsom admitted to smoking cannabis at university but stated she never used cocaine or Class A drugs.
- Dominic Raab (Justice Secretary, 1990s): Raab confessed to smoking cannabis as a student, describing it as a mistake and noting he never used harder drugs, citing concerns about cannabis’s link to mental health issues.
- Sajid Javid (Home Secretary, No Use): Javid stated he never used drugs and criticized those who used Class A substances, positioning himself as a hardliner on drug policy.

Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admitted in 2013 to smoking cannabis “five or six times” in his late teens and early 20s, including once as a Member of Parliament in 2010 at a friend’s dinner party. He emphasized transparency, noting that cannabis did not play a significant role in his life.
He said he last smoked marijuana about three years previously, at his house in Montreal, outside on a patio by the pool.
“We had a few good friends over for a dinner party, our kids were at their grandmother’s for the night, and one of our friends lit a joint and passed it around. I had a puff,” he was quoted saying.
Trudeau’s admission came during Canada’s debate over cannabis legalization, which he championed, culminating in the Cannabis Act of 2018. His “openness” aligned with shifting public attitudes, with 228 million global cannabis users reported in 2022.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime UNODC World Drug Report 2024 notes a 20% increase in global drug use from 2012 to 2022, with cocaine production reaching a record 2,757 tons in 2022. This surge, driven by increased coca cultivation in Colombia and Peru, has made cocaine more accessible, potentially increasing its prevalence among high-profile individuals.
Ex-Diplomat Deepak Vohra claimed that when Justin Trudeau went to India for the G20 in September 2023, his plane was apparently “full of cocaine.” He further claimed that Trudeau missed the G20 dinner because, “Sniffer dogs had found cocaine in Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s plane. He did not attend a dinner hosted by the President because he was on a high.”
THE NAZIS WERE WASTED
Just to show that excessive drug use among the ruling class is nothing new, here’s an oldie but a goldie:

Historical records, including accounts from his personal physician Theodor Morell, indicate Hitler was administered cocaine, amphetamines, and other drugs. Cocaine was reportedly used to treat sinus issues and boost energy, while amphetamines were used to counter fatigue. These were prescribed legally at the time, as cocaine was not yet widely criminalized.
According to Norman Ohler’s book Blitzed: Drugs in Nazi Germany, Morell was a brazen opportunist. After serving as a ship’s doctor and then an army medic in the First World War, he went on to become the personal physician of successful athletes, business leaders, and even royalty such as the Shah of Persia and the King of Romania.
Norman Ohler reveals in his book, that the Third Reich was wasted on drugs: cocaine, opiates, and, most of all, methamphetamines, which were consumed by everyone from factory workers to housewives to German soldiers.
DR. FEELGOOD
John F. Kennedy received injections of painkillers and stimulants, including amphetamines, from Dr. Max Jacobson, to manage chronic back pain and other ailments. Jacobson came to be known as “Miracle Max” and “Dr. Feelgood” because he administered highly addictive “vitamin shots” laced with various substances that included amphetamine and methamphetamine.
Some of his patients included Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Mickey Mantle and Jerry Lewis. Largely unknown to the public until his methods were exposed by The New York Times in 1972, Jacobson was charged with unprofessional conduct and fraud in 1973. He eventually lost his medical license in 1975.
It would be naive to believe world leaders were saints, and it is unsurprising that this brief report is most likely the tip of the iceberg. Powerful and influential people are generally driven overachievers, and they need fuel to keep their egos inflated. Cocaine is the perfect fuel.
According to David Linden, PhD, a neuroscience professor at Johns Hopkins’ School of Medicine who wrote a groundbreaking book, The Compass of Pleasure: How Our Brains Make Fatty Foods, Orgasm, Exercise, Marijuana, Generosity, Vodka, Learning, and Gambling Feel So Good, the traits that make a good CEO, such as risk-taking, strong drive for success, obsession, dedication, novelty-seeking, are precisely what make a drug addict.
He claims that the pleasure derived from success, and in particular from risky or novel business ventures, is borne of the very same brain pathways that make substance use so irresistible to some. “My strong, strong suspicion,” says Linden, “is that what makes some people more likely to rise to top, is same thing that makes them more likely to be addicts.”
